SEOUL for the lazy souls: Day 3 (Lee Chul Hair Kerker)
It was raining on the 3rd day, we woke up late as usual, and headed down to the living room where we bumped into Jinny. Jinny is our chio, caring & nice laobanniang of Bodeum. We told her about our plans to get a hair cut that day and she recommended us to Lee Chul Hair Kerker, where she herself usually patronise. She helped us book an appointment and even asked for a 20% discount (only for haircut) on our behalf.
The salon is located in the streets of Myeongdong (Address below) so it was easy for us.
This is Lee Chul Hair's no.1 hair stylist noona - Kim Tan.
I've never had such princess experience in any of the hair salons I've been to in Singapore. The hair stylist will be with you from the beginning to the end (without going MIA like Singapore) & there are always a few assistants who are standing by your side ready to tend to your needs anytime. + Drinks were free-flow!
I did 3 things to my hair
1. Dye natural dark colour
2. Trim my split ends & cut see-through bangs
3. Treatment
I really wanted to perm but after giving it a millionth thought, I decided not to. & these 3 were enough to burn a hole in my pocket. Hair cut was cheap at 20000 won with a further 20% discount. But the dye and treatment was quite pricey. It costs us around 280000 won in total if I remembered correctly - still cheaper than Singapore. I was very satisfied with the treatment + massage as after bleaching my hair last year, I forgot what it was like to have such smooth and healthy hair. Everything was done swiftly in 2 hours or so :) All in all, it was worth it in terms of their excellent service, ambiance and styling.
Btw, my real hairstylist was Eun 은 :)
We had our late lunch at Chicken 678, ordered a plate of Crunchy Honey Garlic Chicken. Although the name doesn't suggest that it contains chilli, the sauce was mildly spicy. Not that I bother anyway, because I LOVE SPICY, but Jocelyn can't take chilli.
But guess what, even a lousy girl like her enjoyed this dish! :)
I like how I can actually hide my bangs hehe :) After lunch, we went to Edae/Ewha University.
HAHA Look at my cui face and messy hair, I don't look like someone who just had her hair done lol. I was very tired lah ok after all the walking and shopping in the rain. This was taken at Cafe Noriter, a cute cafe located within the shopping districts of Edae. I really wanted to try the cotton candy latte but it was sold out :'( I can't remember what drink we ordered in the end, its a frappe, that's all I know lol. Jocelyn had churros from Street Churros, she said it was okayyy.. there were better ones we tried later on like Churro101 and my all time fav - Coffee Chu.
We dropped by Seoul Station Lotte Mart on our way back, to stock up our morning milk. I bought Kimbap seaweed (like ALOT) & Hotteok mix for mummy :)
& then came our crazy night of laughters, singing.. and camwhoring HAHA. This is what (most) girls do when they are on a holiday, so don't judge. & I'm too lazy to edit the lighting or edit anything for the matter, so please forgive me.
Honestly, every now and then, I still miss my long golden hair. I don't know when will I ever have the chance to do crazy colours again..,seems like I'll have to stick to this healthy hair colour for some time.
But I'm glad I tried see-through bangs, I've been contemplating for months already. The only downside to this bangs is the amount of effort I have to put into styling everyday as I have to use both the ahma curler and the iron straightener.
I'm quite proud of myself for posting up to day 3 within a day haha. Shall continue with the rest tomorrow :) & end this post with (weird) videos of us.

People say I have a resting bitch face. I think I can attribute this to my mum being a Japanese (Yakuza) and my dad, a Singaporean (Ahbeng)
