SEOUL for the lazy souls: Day 8 (Hondgae)

Shamelessly starting our day with selfies LOL cuz we live in an attic and natural light shines through the rooftop window everyday β˜€οΈ
Dream con withdrawal syndrome didn't hit us yet at that time.
It was like we lived a dream and that was it.
It was a brand new day to start our shopping again.

We had our lunch and dessert at Shinsegae departmental store just right across our guesthouse - as recommended by our laobanniang.
It is like a high class food court, so it was a little pricier than those random restaurants along the streets. I wanted to have something soupy so I ordered this beef glass noodle soup which tasted a lot like Sukiyaki.  Their menu, for both mains and desserts, is rather extensive.
It's good to go in a group cuz everyone can satisfy their respective cravings.

When we reached Hongdae, it was already very packed with college students.
We headed to Stylenanda while munching on our churros.
We spent quite sometime there πŸ˜†
Oh, we went to SPAO before that, and I spent about a hundred there.
FREAKING LOVE SPAO's BASICS. The sandals especially.

After walking rounds and rounds, we (again) decided to have KBBQ for dinner lol.
We were supposed to wait for Kelvin, but it was already 7 plus and there was no news from him.
So we decided to eat first. The KBBQ we had here was so-so only, but it was very cheap.
Like around 6 000 won? For each serving/plate of meat.

Got bored waiting for Kelvin so we ended up taking many photos again.
There were many buskers and dancers all over Hongdae.
& a group of potential QTs were dancing along to Call Me Baby.
It was around 9 plus already, and the crowd was getting larger than the afternoon.
I often get VERY angry 😑 with the Orchard road crowd, but Idk why in Hongdae I was really enjoying the crowded & lively atmosphere lol. The weather maybe πŸ’™

So Kelvin finally came at around 10 plus with his dancer friend.
& the 4 of us continued to hang around Hongdae, snacking and all till about 1.30 am & cabbed back.

We got this note on our door lol.
We weren't a nuisance I swear. We just laugh a little too loud sometimes.
But that's because the guesthouse was pretty empty the past week and it literally felt like the entire house was ours.
We kept our volume low after that πŸ˜—

Address:

1. Shinsegae Departmental Store Food Hall
Hoehyeon Station, Exit 7, the building is connected to the station.
Walkable from Myeongdong too. Myeongdong exit 6, don't walk towards the main street. Walk towards the left by the road side. Continue walking straight and you'll be able to see a big building across the road.

2. Churro 101
328-15 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Honggik Exit 9, walk straight towards the main shopping street (with KFC on your left) and turn right at the intersection, walk straight, it will be on your right.

People say I have a resting bitch face. I think I can attribute this to my mum being a Japanese (Yakuza) and my dad, a Singaporean (Ahbeng)
